Labels and tags for use in cleaning baths

The machining of metal parts such as turning, honing, drilling and pressing is usually followed by a cleaning process to remove chips and other contamination. This can be either just a dipping bath, for instance, for degreasing or a pressure chamber with washing processes. Many different types of aggressive fluids such as acids, alkali, solvents and chemical cleaning agents are used for cleaning.

As specialists for robust labels, S+P Samson GmbH offers different solutions which will withstand virtually any type of cleaning process. Depending on the chemical, it will be either the painted or blank surface of a plastic which will withstand this treatment in combination with laser or thermal transfer printer media.

Your benefits at a glance:

  • No interruption in material traceability during cleaning processes
  • A wide range of solutions for different applications
  • Reliable processes due to clear allocation
  • No additional work required such as removing the label or tag during the cleaning process

Strong bond

S+P Samson GmbH provides resistance to cleaning agents and solvents for both tags and self-adhesive labels. The combination of specific films with adhesives with a very strong bond also transfers these properties to various self-adhesive products. The combination of a larger amount of glue and flowable adhesives achieves resistance to very demanding applications such as high-pressure cleaning.
