Wire rods place a multitude of demands on barcode solutions. Depending on the distance travelled during cooling, the temperature can be as high as 400 °C when the identification is attached. Additional processes such as pickling require a good chemical resistance for the label.

- identification legible after pickling
- secure fastening to product
- high temperature resistance to 580 °C

S+P GRAPHIPLAST® materials such as type 71(PE) or type 72 (PET) are adapted to suit the label printing system used.
Special surface coatings for the different printing methods (laser, thermal transfer, dot matrix or solid ink) ensure high print quality and readability when using with barcodes.
